Great !

I have come across college going girls, taking that extra effort to look good, and sometimes to look edible… What with the crisp ironed salwar suits, wonderfully co-ordinated jeans and tops, some nice platform heels and ethnic bangles, with dangling earrings. This thought came across my mind… My daughter will be into her teens within a couple of years…. As for all these girls, who crossed my path… she is going to be waiting for this day too…..

So much have changed, since we were in colleges… what have not changed are our memories and the blushing of the pretty young things…..

For some, Valentine’s Day means a lot….. For others it’s just another day… with the same routine and chores that has to be done…. For home makers like me, it’s time to reminiscence a little… not much though, of the past 

love is in the air

As we  grow out of the scene, get married, have kids…. Some things go missing…. We strive to keep pace of the fast life with added responsibilities, forgetting somewhere, that we are also Human beings, who needs Love, a little, not much though, care, affection, just to keep our energy level high..

LOVE IS IN THE AIR

Being in Love is something everyone wants to be, whether it’s a young person in 20’s or an elderly in 70’s. We all want that special treatment from that special someone, that we have dedicated our lives to.

We wonder, is it gifts that we look forward to…………….But gifts do have a  meaning, that the person has taken that extra time out, just for you, to get a sweet little thing, that would make your day. But you see ladies; we do feel special, if small gifts, cards are showered to us… I mean who does not?????

As far as Indian home makers and Ladies are concerned, we would be satisfied, if our Husbands would just wish us for the same. It is not necessary that one would expect, Big gifts from them, what with 50% sale going on in Shoppers stop, jabong.com, Yebhi.com no- no, I am not ranting…

WHAT???????? I am not asking my husband to gift me some… well, that would be beautiful though! (If he hands over the bucks, it’s fine by me, I can order some ).

Well-well-well, What will break my heart is logging on to Facebook and appreciating all the messages and the pictures, of my friends and their smiling faces with their wonderful attire, while my Dear husband will be away at the office and will be back at 12.0 clock midnight…..The same routine chores… the same monotony, the same grumbling faces, the same food…..da-da-da……. I can go on and on and on. It’s always the same, this year, the next year and all the coming years. As it was for the last so many years.

Come on wake up….. HAVE A LIFE WITH YOUR WONDERFUL INDIAN WIFE, HUSBAND DEAR…  you are missing something, loosing something that’s never going to come back….. Ponder, all the lethargic Husbands and give some credit to your better Halves…

Be proud to have us, the Indian Wives…. As your life’s support system… you won’t appreciate… Then you will lead a lonely life, without our appreciation for what you have provided us with.
