In a very few weeks, you will yourself be able to handle the baby with the utmost ease. You will also know the best way to hold the baby, to change, comfort, and feed the baby too.
You will also come across this fact that if the baby needs anything, it will eventually find a way to communicate with you and you will be the best person on earth to deduce what the baby wants.
As the child gets older, she will become more independent. By the age of five, even three, she will be able to feed her, wash, clean and dress herself. And the top up is that , her physical needs will not take up so much of your time.
As a new parent, you will receive lots of advices , do’s and don’ts from family, friends and relatives. In a span of few days, you will yourself segregate the do’s from the don’ts and know the best do’s for your baby. So, the question is:

Figuring out your role as a parent, is getting hard on you and on top of that, all these you allbubbles of advices from family, friends and relatives, that often arrives with the baby is giving you a stroke.
How can you respond to the person around you, who love the baby and want the best for the baby? Be kind, yet very firm. Never say a no in the face, you can say that , you do appreciate the advice, and will give it some serious thought, but continue with your own, and if you like theirs, go on, take a chance.
They are experienced, just see whether it suits your baby though.
A baby is the happiest, next to you and your skin, where it can feel the heart beat and your warmth. Sometimes, Mothers are so exhausted attending to the physical need of the baby that they almost forget that, the baby has also an emotional life….
In the long run, with inadequate love and attention, the baby’s health can be affected.
Some mothers get a shock to find that they lack maternal feelings, when they first hold their baby in hands, what about others, but it has happened with me…and I am the most live example.
This may be a variety of factors. Maternal indifference can last from a day to a week, but hardly longer. As mother love is partially hormonal. One of the hormones that stimulates lactation is also, partly responsible for the motherly love and affection.
Don’t you young “mammas” worry at all? This is a passing phase and will be over soon. You will enjoy the bundle of joy immensely. Have faith in yourself first.
